A: I love these posts (mainly because I’m incredibly nosey) so I thought I would let you all have a nose in my handbag too!
Admittedly, I’m am probably the most unorganised person in the world.
Literally nothing in my life is tidy, there’s always pens and random receipts in my handbag and I never keep my make up in make up case, it all just rattles around together! I don’t carry all my make up with me, but I always have my Bare Minerals mineral veil and flawless face brush, these are perfect if you need to get rid of some of the sneaky shine that appears from nowhere! I also have the sample size of my Porefessional with me because it’s perfect for touch ups. I’ve got my Model Co lipstick with me today, this is a staple in my bag, but if I’m wearing a different lipstick I’ll carry that too. I always have a blusher too – one with a mirror!! This Elf one is perfect. My tangle teezer is a must for my unruly mop and this Molton Brown Rose and Rhubarb hand lotion is my new favourite thing (it was in my Birchbox this month and it smells amazing!!!) Other than my trust purse, keys and kindle combo that’s my handbag summed up!
C: Now I’m sure you have seen plenty of reviews on the famous Tangle Teezer before, but it was put to the ultimate test of battling its way through my “witch hair” as Annie so lovingly refers to it! Seriously though, I have so much hair and it gets so knotty that I dread brushing it and have even had to cut partial dreadlocks out of it after several festivals! Yes… my hair really is that knotty! So after reading all of the amazing reviews I thought I would give it a try (and because my hairdresser sister-in-law keeps shouting at me for using a brush on my wet hair – it just breaks combs!)
I am absolutely amazed. I wouldn’t say it just glides through my hair like others have commented, but it certainly gets rid of the knots and barely pulls. What used to take me 10 minutes now takes 2! I have also noticed that my hair hasn’t been breaking off as much during brushing and I don’t have a nice halo of broken off hairs! However, my only negative of the Tangle Teezer is that the bristles are not long enough to get through my mane, so I still have to section off my hair to brush it. A sacrifice I am willing to make for strong, healthy hair!
Annie also had a go and now she really wants one too! Have you tried the Tangle Teezer? What did you think? #twolittleowlsblog
