#Loveis A Valentine’s OOTD ft. M&Co

A & C: With Valentine’s Day on it’s way, we’ve put together a V day look using this beautiful Wave Heart Print Cardigan from M&Co.

This is priced at £26.00, and has such a cute heart print with gorgeous red buttons – we love it. It’s made from a lovely lightweight knit too so it’s super wearable. Because of this, we are both going to style it in our own way to give you some inspo.

A: I love easy to wear cardigans like this, they can so easily be dressed up or down – but if I was off out for the evening I would team this with my favourite black swing dress, black tights and black chelsea boots. I’d go for a simple gold necklace and small gold hoop earrings – and of course winged eyeliner and red lips using my Sleek Matte Lip Cream. If you can’t wear red lipstick on Valentine’s Day, when can you!

C: normally I prefer a chunkier knit than this (my style isn’t very girly!) but who can say no to such a cute cardi! I would style this with a bright red loose vest top, my black super skinny jeans and my burgundy lace up heeled boots! Perfect for date night at the cinema/out for a meal!

You can find this cardigan by clicking here, and heading to the M and Co site.
We’d like to say a massive thank you to M and Co for this opportunity too, we really enjoyed putting these looks together! If you’d like to head to their blog, just click here!

A Very Lucky Annie

A: Well it’s the day after Boxing Day, a day to relax, eat cheese and drink any left over wine for my boyfriend and I. Chloe and I have really had a lovely Christmas, and we hope you guys have too! I thought I’d take some time to have a look through some of the lovely gifts I received, and also thought I’d share them with you. Chloe posted about hers yesterday (click here), so here are a few of mine, and I’ve started with the homeware bits and pieces. I’ll post about everything else another day, I’ve been reallllllly spoilt and it was a little too much to put in one post. By the way, we are in no way bragging about how many presents we got, we love reading these on other blogs and always get really good present ideas from them so if you are interested or need some ideas of your own, carry on reading!

My nanny bought me this lovely dinner set and egg store. I have a country style kitchen so these will fit in perfectly, and I’ve always wanted a chicken egg store so was super happy about this!

I also got some beautiful vintage cocktail glasses which I am in love with, a set of 6 which have taken pride of place in my drinks cabinet. There’s also a vintage Bon Bon dish tucked away in one of the photos, if you didn’t already realise I am a big fan of vintage glass wear.
Some Laura Ashley measuring cups, which is something I really needed and they are pretty too so that’s a bonus! And the cutest miniature measuring cups and jugs in the world, for teaspoon and tablespoon measurements. These are from Rosie’s Pantry – and they are adorable. An owl mug, and a chocolate owl – a bit of a theme to Chloe and I’s Christmas presents this year! (I did eat some of the chocolate owl, it looked too yummy to resist).

My boyfriend and I are a big fan of Le Creseut crockery and my aunt and uncle bought us this lovely set of two mini pie dishes. I will put these to good use over the next few weeks and include a recipe post for you readers too!
My nanny also bought us these steak knives and forks – a perfect gift for us (we are having steak tonight!).

Burgers are one of our all time favourite foods, and Chloe and her boyfriend bought us this amazing burger recipe book. I’m so excited to use this, again I’m sure there will be some recipes popping up on the blog from us!
Lastly, a hilarious mug ‘PAWS’ from my boyfriend. I did lol a lot when I opened it.

What did you guys get for Christmas? #twolittleowls

P.s sorry some of the photos are a little dark – it’s really grey and miserable outside!!

Blogmas 2014 – Day 6 Our Favourite Thing About Christmas

We have had to change our schedule around slightly, as we haven’t started our crafts yet and want to show you them properly! So today we are posting about: What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

C: Ah this is so difficult to answer, I love everything about Christmas! I don’t have one favourite thing, so i’ll go with my top faves! They have to be seeing family/friends, giving presents and eating all the good food! I also love the decorations and excitement leading to to Christmas. The lead up and expectation is probably the best part!

A: I think my favourite thing about Christmas is the lead up to it. I love the excitement, the decorations and preparing for family to come over and drink fun Christmas drinks, eat yummy food and spend quality time with them. Spending the day watching as many Christmas films as you can whilst wrapping presents for special people. The advent calendars and the Christmas trees. Seeing my parents on Christmas day is one of my favourite things too though. I don’t live with them anymore so when I do see them on the big day we always hug and say Merry Christmas, and because we aren’t particularly affectionate as a family, it makes it really special. To be honest, I love everything about Christmas. I’M SO EXCITED.
