The Lust List: Annie’s Part 2

A: So here’s the next post in my Lust List series, I posted my top MAC lusts here yesterday.

Pixi Beauty is another brand I’ve had my eyes on for a while now, it’s been popping up all over the blogosphere and their website is beautiful. I haven’t got any of their products, but the packaging looks really high end, and I adore the cute and coordinating mint green throughout all of the ranges. There’s also LOADS of reviews on the website. I mean tonnes, and every single one that I have read is so complimentary of the brand. Another thing I love about the website are the descriptions of what each product is formulated to do, and the natural ingredients they contain and how they benefit you.

Here’s what I’m desperate to get hold of…

Glow Tonic

“Oxygenating. Exfoliating facial glow tonic. It helps tone, firm and tighten the skin. It removes dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. For normal to dry, aging and sensitive skin. Alcohol free.”

I’m sure this is at the top of a lot of beauty wishlists right now, it’s so highly reviewed and said to really give your skin a healthy ‘glow’.  You can buy it here on their website for £16.

Cat Liner Brush

“A super slim angled brush that gives eyes a feline flick with minimal effort. This brush can be used with gel liner, liquid liner or powder shadow and is the perfect tool to create a retro eye.”

I am super intrigued about cat liner brushes because although I love wearing liquid eyeliner every day, it does become a bit of a chore. I can’t break the habit though, my eyes feel naked without it! I really want to give this a try and have a go at creating the look with eyeshadow, for a less defined and more natural finish. The brush costs £12 and you can buy it here.

Flawless Beauty Primer

“This product is my holy grail! It hydrates my skin, gives me a radiant glow all day, plus makes my makeup stay put.” -Petra

“Even, flawless skin tone is the sign of youthful healthy skin. Sometimes we need a little help with the glow from within. This primer is the perfect solution; the formula is loaded with skin loving ingredients. Formula contains powerful anti-aging and skin fortifying benefits. Formula suitable for all skin types.”

Beneficial Ingredients and what they do:

  • Pearl extract for revitalization, protection and anti-aging
  • Vitamin E increases skin elasticity.
  • Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant
  • Vitamin C has revitalizing and nourishing benefits.

As Petra, the creator of Pixi Beauty, says herself this is her holy grail. Pixi Beauty use so many beneficial ingredients to help improve any of those pesky flaws we have, and this product covers them all. You can find it here for £20.50 – pretty pricey so I would hope that it lives up to all of it’s expectations!

Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar

“Awaken lips with this super-nourishing balm. The unique formula is rich but lightweight and gives a gorgeous wash of colour to lips – it’s the perfect pick-me-up anytime! Packed full of beneficial ingredients, this balm soothes lips immediately & nourishes them long term.”

Pixi’s lip balms contain shea butter to nourish and vitamin E to protect, which is perfect for an everyday balm – but the colour range also has beautiful brights for a more dressy look too. My favourite is the Honey Nectar – a lovely nude/brown which is my favourite tone for lip colours. These are really reasonably priced at £8 so I may just have to treat myself, if you want to do the same click here!
